Spinach gnocchi gratin

I was going to serve with a slice of garlic bread ( 25g bread and 1/2 tsp low fat butter) for an extra 3, but forgot to buy bread! 

Ingredients
400g fresh gnocchi
90g frozen spinach, defrosted
1 garlic clove, crushed
125g low fat Chive and onion cottage cheese
1 egg yolk
40g mild or hot pepper dew peppers, finely sliced
15g pine nuts, toasted. 





Method 
1. Preheat the oven to 160 c. Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil and add the gnocchi and cook for 2 minutes. Drain and return to the pan.
2. Squeeze the excess water from the spinach and put it in a large bowl. 
Stir in the garlic, cottage cheese, egg yolk and peppers and lots of freshly ground pepper. Stir in the gnocchi and coat then spoon into a large ovenproof dish. 
3. Sprinkle with the pine nuts and bake for 20 minutes. 

For the garlic bread, mix 1//2 clove of garlic with butter, spread on the bread and toast under the grill.
